Data Killers offers the ultimate service for quickly, securely and completely erasing any quantity of hard drives.  Data Killers employees are experts in the hard drive erase process.   This hard drive erase can be performed right at our customer’s facility or off-site at our highly secure facility.

For customers who are interested in re-using their hard drives, we now offer both an on-site and off-site certified purging service. Our highly trained technicians can perform a Secure hard drive erase function on all ATA and SCSI drives (including IDE, EIDE, PATA, SATA, and laptop drives) through an interface cable with our hardware. This hard drive erase process is in conjunction with the internal Secure Erase command mandated by the ATA specification developed by the T-13 technical committee.

Data Killers activates the Secure Hard Drive Erase command to completely purge all data from hard drives. With each hard drive that we wipe, we will provide a Certificate of Purging which has the serial number of the hard drive and the date it was wiped and certification that it was wiped in accordance with the NIST 800-88 standards.

Our hard drive erase process is in full compliance with all physical destruction criteria as set forth by various laws and regulations, including but not limited to: NIST standards; DoD regulations; HIPAA; Sarbanes-Oxley Act; Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act; FACTA Disposal Rule; Bank Secrecy Act; Patriot Act of 2002; Identity Theft and Assumption Deterrence Act; US Safe Harbor Provisions; FDA Security Regulations; PCI Data Security Standard; Various state laws.
