Shredding

We offer both off-site and on-site shredding of any type of media or material.

Our four shaft shredders can shred over 1000 lbs. of metal and plastic per hour. All of our shredders have multiple screens to control the particle output size. The process to shred hard drives not only cuts and shreds the metal but by forcing it through the cutters and screens, it also compresses and compacts the media rendering it completely unrecoverable. Our hard drive shredding service has been verified by an independent third party using classified recovery methods.

Access to our facilities is controlled and monitored with alarms and CCTV.  All of our employees undergo a background check, sign a confidentiality agreement and are thoroughly trained in security procedures.

Shredding can be overseen by the customer, recorded to DVD, monitored remotely via dedicated IP address or overseen and verified by personnel with a secret-level security clearance. Data Killers will provide a signed and dated Certificate of Destruction.

Our Certificates of Destruction are nationally recognized and will suffice in all situations. Serial numbers can be captured and recorded as required by the customer.

Our hard drive disposal process is in full compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.
