TAPE SHREDDING

We offer off-site and on-site tape shredding and data tape destruction services.  We can rapidly and securely destroy any quantity of tapes for our nationwide customers.

We destroy tapes in shredders with multiple screen sizes to control the particle output size.  Tapes can be shredded to less than 10 mm if requested by customer.  Our shredders will accommodate all tape formats ranging from large 16 inch metal reels to tiny DDS tapes.  Shredding tapes of all formats and quantities is our specialty.  Magnetic tape destruction and back-up tape destruction is especially important as data is migrated to hard drives.

We also offer on-site tape destruction and destruction of classified tapes.  Our mobile tape destruction vehicles can pull up to any loading dock or building.  We can quickly and securely perform data tape destruction services while you watch.  This process can also be recorded on a DVD as further proof of compliance.

For smaller tape destruction projects, we offer secure shipment in military style cases.  Access to our tape destruction facility is controlled and monitored including the use of CCTV and alarms. When we destroy tapes it can be overseen by our customers, recorded to DVD, monitored remotely via a dedicated IP address or overseen and verified by personnel with a secret-level security clearance. Premises can be completely locked down depending on our client’s requirements.

All of our employees undergo a background check, sign a confidentiality agreement and are thoroughly trained in security procedures.  We are active members of NAID and have numerous references from a variety of companies and agencies. We are a GSA contract holder – contracts  # GS-25F0019T and GS10F0134V. We are certified by the Defense Logistics Information Service to store and transport military critical technical data – #0051382.

Our nationally recognized Certificates of Destruction will suffice for all compliance purposes and can include a list of serial numbers.
