Data Killers issues a signed and dated Certificate of Destruction at the conclusion of each project. Our Certificates are nationally recognized and will suffice in all situations. Certificates will include a complete list of scanned serial numbers if requested. Our data destruction certificates are offered for off-site and on-site shredding, destroying hard drives, degaussing, and all of our other services.
Our Certificates of Destruction clearly state what was destroyed; how and when we destroyed it; why we are certified to destroy it; and a compliance paragraph. The compliance paragraph clearly states all the rules and regulations governing data destruction, including but not limited to:
- Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SoX)
- NIST 800-88
- HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act)
- PCI Data Security Standard
- Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA)
- Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
- Patriot Act of 2002
- Identity Theft and Assumption Deterrence Act
- US Safe Harbor Provisions
- FDA Regulations
- Various state laws
We are the leader in developing methods about how to destroy hard drives.
Our services are utilized by small and large corporations across the United States. Data Killers is used by banks, insurance companies, brokerage companies, hospitals, medical offices, accounting firms, manufacturers, technology companies, service companies and a host of other types of companies.
