Data Killers specializes in nationwide data destruction services for a variety of customers including corporations, government and military organizations, non-profit agencies, medical facilities and residents. Our services are certifiedand compliant with all local, state and federal regulations. One recent data destruction project consisted of on-site hard drive shredding in Philadelphia for a financial services and investment company.
We are known throughout the country for our signature hard drive shredding services, but Data Killers can shred all types of media including smart phones, flash drives, microfiche, CD’s, DVD’s, circuit boards and memory cards. In this one day project, Data Killer’s technicians shredded a combination of hard drives, optical disks, mobile phones and personal digital assistants. With our state-of-the-art four shaft mobile shredders, we pulled up to our customer’s loading dock to complete the hard drive and media shred while they witnessed.
Prior to shredding their media, Data Killer’s technicians scanned and captured the serial numbers from all of the media. This helps our customer account for their media and provides complete asset management. In addition to scanning the media, our customer’s mobile phones and PDA’s required our technicians to remove their batteries prior to destruction. The batteries are removed in order to obtain the media’s serial numbers and because we don’t shred batteries as they contain materials like lead that must be treated correctly here in the U.S. All batteries and resulting particles from the shred were recycled in accordance with all local, state and federal regulations.
Data Killer’s on-site hard drive shredding in Philadelphia and nationwide is the most trusted and reliable data destruction method. At the follow-up to this project, the customer remarked on how impressed they were with Data Killer’s professionalism, prompt execution, and hard work. The on-site hard drive and media shredding in Philadelphia was an overall success for both our customer and Data Killers alike.
